Full spectrum CBD oil contains all phytochemicals, including up to 0,2% THC, which is legal in Denmark, enabling an entourage effect where the different components work together to enhance each other. Broad spectrum CBD oil, on the other hand, contains a wide range of cannabinoids but without THC, making it ideal for those who want to avoid this substance.

There are also isolate-based CBD oils, these will often be the cheapest, but do not contain any other active components from the cannabis plant. Here it is a carrier oil, typically MCT (Coconut oil) or hemp oil, which has CBD isolate dissolved in it.
