Part of the Culture
After several years of physical stores in Copenhagen, CBDanmark has become a natural part of the city's local environment. Through daily contact with customers, neighbors and partners, we have built a strong relationship with the areas we are a part of.

Nørrebro – the world's coolest neighborhood
In 2021, Nørrebro was named the coolest neighborhood in the world by Time Out's global experts. The award highlighted Nørrebro's diversity, where history meets modern architecture, a wave of new restaurants and bars, as well as community initiatives such as car-free Sundays on Nørrebrogade and interactive art projects in the neighborhood's disadvantaged areas.
When you visit our store, you find yourself in the middle of an area known for its sustainability, strong neighborhoods, and innovative food scene.

Assistens Cemetery – A Green Oasis
Just a few minutes' walk from Jagtvej is Assistens Kirkegård. It functions as both a cemetery and a city park and is known as the final resting place of famous Danes. Among others, HC Andersen, Søren Kierkegaard, Niels Bohr and Natasja Saad are buried here. The cemetery is also one of Nørrebro's most important green oases, where locals go for walks, run, cycle and have picnics. It is a peaceful place in the middle of the city's pulse.
Nørrebro Park and the Green Path
A little further up Jagtvej you will find Nørrebroparken – a long green strip that connects the neighbourhood and creates a natural meeting place. The park integrates activities and urban spaces; there are football pitches, a skate park, beach volleyball and dog walking areas. The park is also connected to The Green Path, a bike and walking path that runs from Nørrebroparken to Superkilen with large grassy areas and the colorful Red and Black Markets, where skaters and children play. Along the way, you can take a break at one of the many cafes in Stefansgade or Jægersborggade.

Cultural experiences and food mecca
Nørrebro offers a wealth of cultural and gastronomic experiences:
Kiin Kiin (Guldbergsgade) – the only Thai restaurant outside of Thailand with a Michelin star.
Baest (Guldbergsgade) – Christian Puglisi's Italian/Nordic pizza temple.
BRUSH og Kølster's Twelve Cocks – two of the city's best beer bars.
The Barking Dog – a cocktail bar in the basement with a local atmosphere.
Classical music venues such as Holdde og Peace, which attracts both international and local artists.
Vesterbrogade 107 – the gateway to Frederiksberg and Vesterbro
Frederiksberg Allé: A royal boulevard
Our store on Vesterbrogade is just a few minutes’ walk from the iconic Frederiksberg Allé. The wide, tree-lined avenue was built in 1704 as the king’s private road to the summer palace of Frederiksberg Castle. Today, it connects Vesterbrogade with the main entrance to Frederiksberg Have and is still known for its double rows of lime trees and its many theaters. Take a stroll down the avenue and enjoy the historic atmosphere on your way to Frederiksberg Have or a performance at one of the local theaters.

Istedgade: From red-light district to lively main street
Istedgade is the main artery of Vesterbro and is located a stone's throw from our store. The street exudes diversity and offers some of the city's best shops, restaurants and bars. For many years Istedgade was known as Copenhagen's red-light district, but today the street has been transformed into a gastronomic and cultural mecca. Towards the central station there are still a few sex shops, but the rest of the street is filled with cozy cafes, fashion, specialty shops and eateries. The perfect route for a cup of coffee before or after your visit to us.
Enghave Park and Enghave Square
Enghaveparken is located approx. 5 minutes walk from the store and is a free space in the middle of Vesterbro's dense urban space. The park was built in 1929 and reopened in 2019 after an extensive renovation, where it received underground water reservoirs as part of the city's climate protection. The beautiful surroundings with elements designed by architect Arne Jacobsen and the many recreational facilities make Enghaveparken an ideal place to relax after shopping. At the adjacent Enghave Plads you will find cafés, restaurants and local events all year round.

Several Hidden Gems In Vesterbro
Vaernedamsvej: A small “French” street between Vesterbro and Frederiksberg with wine bars, delicatessens and specialties.
Meatpacking District: The old butcher's village has been transformed into creative restaurants, galleries and nightlife. Perfect for dinner and a drink after your visit with us.
CBD store at the Central Station – close to Vesterbrogade
From the Central Station it typically takes about 12 minutes to walk to the store. The simple route is to follow Vesterbrogade west from the station, after which you will find the shop at Vesterbrogade 107BThis makes the location particularly attractive for those who want a store close to the city center, close to train connections and close to daily traffic through Copenhagen.
